Our origins.
It all starts with the idea of two friends, one Mexican and the other Venezuelan, to bring to the USA a plantain product with the best quality.
After searching in different regions of the American continent, they finally found the ideal option, in a small town in Otatitlán, Veracruz, Mexico.
On the geographical limits between Oaxaca and Veracruz, the region produces an excellent quality plantain, thanks to its rich lands that are irrigated by the Papaloapan River, one of the largest and most extensive that Mexico has, whose waters nourish the lands to give us This green treasure that delights the most demanding palates.

Our land, our people.

Our roots.
The origin of the word JA'AS derives from the Mayan dialect "HA'AS' which means banana. The Mayans were part of the Central American civilization in ancient times, giving the world one of the most beautiful cultures today. Plantain, for both Central Americans and South Americans, is part of their daily menu, not only because of its pleasant flavor but also because it contains high levels of potassium. Due to its delicious flavor and multiple properties, banana has become part of the universal diet.
